Provincial Nominee Program for Alberta can be categorized into three Streams:
The AINP consists of three main Immigration streams:the Strategic Recruitment Stream;the Employer Driver Stream; andthe Self-Employed Farmer Stream. Each category has its own respective sub-categories and requirements as well.
Strategic Recruitment Stream :
This stream is allocated for applicants of the Provincial Nomination Program who have no employer support. This stream is further categorized into four sub-categories.
(1) Alberta Work Experience Category
This pertains to eligible skilled, semi-skilled, and selectunskilled occupations. Unskilled level jobs like Trades Helpers and Laborers, Cleaners, Building Superintendents and clerks are included in the list of eligible occupations.
Moreover, applicants for this category must be working full-time in Alberta with supporting valid work permit. During the application period, the applicant must reside in Alberta. Also, individuals aiming to get nominated must have the intention of continuing to reside and work in Alberta. Regulated workers applying in this category must have essential license/certificate/registration to practice in Alberta. Lastly, the applicant must score high in Language Proficiency test.
(2) Compulsory and Optional Category
Eligible applicants in this category are supervisors, foremen and tradespersons that holdan Alberta Qualification Certificate or a Recognized Trade Certificate and are conducting a compulsory or optional trade in the Province of Alberta.
Applicants must have the intention to continue living and working in Alberta permanently. It is also important the individual is residing in Alberta during the time of application with valid work permit. During the application process, applicants must provide necessary documents to prove that he or she is currently working in their trade for an Alberta employer, or have been working in their trade for an Alberta employer for minimum 6 months in past 3 years.
(3) Engineering Occupations Category
This category is open for all engineers, designers, and drafters that have been working in Alberta. Eligible applicants must refer to the AINP Strategic Recruitment Stream Engineering Occupations List to know more about what occupations are eligible. Nevertheless, occupations not found on the list may still apply in the AINP Skilled Worker Category.
The applicant must have the intention to live and work in Alberta permanently. Moreover, the individual should also be currently residing in Alberta at the date of application. Also, experienced worker or engineer must have proof of their educational training and experience. A minimum experience of 2 years in Alberta for an Alberta employer is required for the applicant to be eligible in the Provincial Nomination Program. Some eligible occupations, like engineering managers, civil engineers, chemical engineers, mining engineers, etc., which have credentials should also provide a 'Letter of No Objection' from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), or show that they are registered with APEGA.
(4) Post Graduate Worker Category
These are open for individuals who have graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Alberta, and are also currently working in Alberta. The occupation must be eligible and must have a Post-Graduation Work Permit.
Like the rest of the categories, the applicant must intend to live and work in Alberta permanently. It is also required that the applicant should be working full-time in Alberta for an Alberta employer at the time of application. The completed program in the recognized institution in Alberta must be at least 1 year long. The applicant must necessary pass the tests for language requirements
Employer-Driven Stream :
This stream would allow employers to nominate their subordinates or workers to the Provincial Nomination Program for immigration purposes. This would assure workers of having brighter prospects to their jobs after they acquire permanent residency in Alberta. This stream consists of three sub-categories
(1) Skilled Worker Category
This category is for individuals that are working permanent and full-time in an eligible skilled occupation in Alberta. It is not necessary for the applicant to be working at the time of application.
Since this is a two-way application and the employers are involved. The employers must meet the requirements for eligibility. Employers must be incorporated or registered in Canada and operating in Alberta. They should also offer a job to the applicant that meets provincial employment standard. Furthermore, the job offer must not conflict with collective bargaining (union) agreements. Employers must check the list of eligible occupations and their designated levels. It is also important that the employer receives a positive Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) for the job they are offering to the applicant. If the applicant is not currently working in Alberta, the employer must be able to display and effort to recruit in Canada before offering job to the applicant. Supervisors, tradespersons, teachers, semi-skilled workers, caregivers, and temporary foreign workers residing outside Alberta are not eligible in this category. On the other hand, applicants should always demonstrate the intention of living and working in Alberta permanently. The applicant should also have training, experience, and necessary license related in performing the job. Eligible applicants must show proof of legal status if they are living abroad. Jobs likePlasterers, Drywallers, Managers/Supervisors in Food Service/Retail, and Upholsterers mainly consists the above skilled worker criteria.
(2) International Graduate Category
This category is for individuals who have graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada. Applicants must have a Post-Graduation Work Permit as well as a permanent, full-time job offer from an Alberta employer. Employers in this category should be incorporated or registered in Canada and operating in Alberta and offers a job to the applicant that meets provincial employment standards. The employer should also provide proof that the wages being offered are consistent with industry standards. In addition, the job offer must not conflict with collective bargaining (union) agreements
Eligible applicants should intend to live and work in Alberta to the employer supporting their application. It is also important the applicant have completed a certificate, diploma, degree or graduate level program from an eligible institution in Alberta or Canada for at least a year. Some occupations require high language test scores.
(3) Semi-Skilled Worker Category
This category is designed for temporary foreign workers who have received a permanent, full-time job offer from an Alberta employer in an eligible semi-skilled occupation. it is important that each side of the parties must deemed eligible to submit an application. An eligible employer must be incorporated or registered in Canada and operating in Alberta and operates one of the five accepted industries in this category. The categories included are food and beverage processing Industry, manufacturing Industry, and the food services industry. The job offer must be permanent and full-time as well as it must meet Alberta employment and wage standards. Once again the job offer should also not conflict with collective bargaining (union) agreements. Some occupations must need a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). Lastly, employers should provide a settlement and retention plan for the individual applicant.
On the other hand, eligible applicants must be currently working in Alberta on a valid work permit in an eligible occupation. A high school level education is required. In addition, applicants must submit additional necessary documents for the industry applied to.
Self-Employed Farmer Stream :
Self-employed farmers are also eligible in applying for the Provincial Nominee Program in Alberta provided that they met the requirements.
Farmers applying for this category must have farm management skills supported with pertinent financial documents to the managed farm business. Applicants should still provide proofof education, training, and/or work experience. A proposed plan for an Alberta farm is highly needed. It is also important that a Canadian financial institution will finance farming venture in Alberta with at least an investment of $500,000 of equity in primary production farming business. It should also show a minimum net work of $500,000 or confirmation of access to similar funds.
Located on the westernmost part of Canada, British Columbia is a center for cultural diversity and economic growth. In this province is the third-largest city in Canada- Vancouver. British Columbia is highly regarded with their abundant natural resources that lead to its strong forestry and mining sector. Furthermore, Vancouver and the rest of British Columbia are renowned as one of the beautiful places in Canada and of the rest of the world.
Applicants for the British Columbia's Provincial Nominee Program will allow prospect immigrants towards a fast-track permanent residency application in British Columbia. Foreign nationals working in BC will be able to retain their services inside the realms of Canada. The BC PNP can be categorized into Skills Immigration and Business Immigration.
Skills Immigration:
This category is dedicated to workers who have received a full-time employment from an employer in British Columbia. This category is broken down into six more sub-categories.
(1) Skilled Worker Category
This pertains to individuals who have received a job for a skilled occupation. In this category, the applicants must have several years of work experience related to the applied job. Workers should have necessary mandatory certification, licensing or registration. Aside from that, the applicant must demonstrate the ability to pay for housing and settlement fees in British Columbia.
The employer must as well qualify the criteria set by the program. The employer's business must be established in British Columbia. Furthermore, the business must also already have permanent, full-time employees.The business must show a history of good business practices. Importantly, the employer must meet domestic labour market recruitment requirements. A letter for a job offering must be signed by both the applicant and the employer.
(2) Health Care Professional Category
In this sub-category, individuals with experience and eligible job offers as health care professionals like physicians and nurses are able to apply in the program. Physicians or specialists must be sponsored and supported by one of British Columbia's five regional health authorities, or the Provincial Health Services Authority. Eligible applicants should also have a positive assessment from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
Registered nurses must also be sponsored from one of five regional health authorities or Provincial Health Services Authority. It is also be noted that applicants must be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of British Columbia.
Midwives should have a letter of confirmation from an established practice group in the province confirming acceptance into the group for at least six months. Most especially, the applicant must be registered with the College of Midwives of British Columbia.
Allied health professionals should be registered with the provincial licensing body that regulates the applicant's healthcare profession. The applicant should also valid proof of job offering that is permanent and full-time.
(3) International Graduates, Canadian Degree Category
This sub category is designed for graduates with Masters or Doctoral degrees from an eligible educational institution in British Columbia. A job offer may not be necessary during the time of application; it is highly required to obtain a job offer from a British Columbia employer afterwards. It is important the graduates are from a recognized public Canadian post-secondary institution with at least one year of formal education in the program. Applicants are required to submit evidence that he or she can support themselves and their dependents in Canada.
(4) Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker Category
Applicants eligible in this category of the nominee program must be workers in certain semi-skilled positions in tourism/hospitality, food processing, or long-haul trucking. The applicant must be currently employed in a full-time position, having been in that position for at least nine consecutive months before applying. The wage offered must be within the standards of British Columbia.
In the other hand, the employer must also meet the criteria in applying in this category. The business must be established in British Columbia and meet domestic labour market recruitment requirements and labour market requirements.
(5) Northeast Pilot Project Category
This category are designed for individuals living and working in the Northeast development Region of British Columbia, including in occupations considered semi- and unskilled, may be eligible for this program without the need for a job offer.
Business Immigration:
Individuals eligible in this category are investors who are willing to settle in British Columbia for a permanent residency. This category further comprises three streams.
(1) Entrepreneur Category
The applicant in this stream must have business experience as a senior manager or business owner. A personal or combined (if married) net worth of at least $800,000 is also required in this category. The investor should make a minimum investment of $400,000 to establish, purchase, or expand an existing business in BC. The applicant should also hold at least one-third ownership of the proposed business in BC. Furthermore, the applicant must have a signed a Performance Agreement with the provincial government. It should also be noted that the applicant or entrepreneur creates a minimum of three full-time jobs, to be held by Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
(2) Regional Entrepreneur Category
In this category, the applicant should have experience as a senior manager or business owner. In this category, A personal or combined (with spouse) net worth of at least $400,000 is required. Plus an investment of $200,000 to establish, purchase, or expand an existing business in BC that is outside of the Vancouver and Abbotsford metropolitan areas must be made. It is also important that it would result to the creation of at least one new job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Make sure to provide a signed Performance Agreement with the provincial government.
(3) Strategic Projects Category
This is created for foreign companies that are aimingto establish a presence in British Columbia. In the process, the company can propose up to five key staff members to work and become permanent residents in Canada. Eligible companies should have evidence of business success and good business practices outside of Canada. The company should be able to make a minimum equity investment of $500,000 to establish or purchase and expand an eligible business. The business or company should also create at least three new jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents for each proposed key staff member; and lastly establish or purchase and expand a company that is incorporated or federally incorporated and registered extra-provincially in BC.
(4) Regional Business Succession Option
This category will allow eligible individuals to take over an existing British Columbia business from a retiring business owner. The business eligible for this program must be located outside of the Vancouver and Abbotsford metropolitan areas and have been by current owner for at least five years. Furthermore, the active company must have at least one full-time employee other than family members of owner.
The province of Saskatchewan on the western part of Canada is considered to be one of the Prairie Provinces that are boastful of its booming economy and population. Saskatchewan is also known to have a high traffic of immigrants, workers, and graduates from around the world. The province's agricultural paradise is the one of the cause of the country's rapid economic growth. Moreover, forestry and fishing are the main industries across the province. Saskatchewan is also home of some of the best cities of Canada: Saskatoon and Regina.
In this age of commercialization a lot of foreign nationals or even non-Saskatchewan is planning to migrate and work. Thus, the Provincial Nomination Program of Saskatchewan is designed to aid and hasten the permanent residency application of prospects in the province. This nomination program has three immigration categories. The three categories are the International Skilled Worker Category, the Saskatchewan Experience Category, and Entrepeneur and Farm Category. Below are the list of sub-categories and requirements that are needed in the application.
International Skilled Worker Category
This category is created for applicants who are skilled workers and are planning to live and work in the province of Saskatchewan. In this category, the applicants are measured based on a point system. By this year, the program is accepting 250 applicants under this category that has no job offer. The applicant must be able to have proof of legal status in Canada even if he or she is a foreign national. The applicant should also score at least 60 points on a 100 point assessment grid. Moreover, the applicant should have sufficient work experience for the past ten years that are relevant to the applied job. In terms of language abilities, the applicant must score a minimum of CLB 4. Once again, the job must be from an approved Saskatchewan employer and it is permanent and full-time. The applicant must have at least completed post-secondary education of at least one year in length. A settlement fund and plan must be presented during the application.
Saskatchewan Experience Category
This allows employers to allow their experienced workers in their aim for permanent residency in Saskatchewan. This category is applicable for foreign workers who are currently living in Saskatchewan. Thus category has multiple sub-categories as discussed below.
(1) Existing Work Permit Sub-Category
This sub-category is for applicants that have been working in the province for at least six months under a valid work permit or a working holiday visa. Thus, it must be clear that the applicant is of legal status in Canada. They must not be refugee claimants.
(2) Health Professions Sub-Category
As the title of the category dictates, this pertains to professionals and workers serving under health care. These applicants could be a physician, a nurse, etc. for at least six months. They should prove their accreditation as well as the job offer is valid and legal as well.
(3) Hospitality Sector Pilot Project
This stream is created for applicants that are working as food and beverage servers, food counter attendants, kitchen helpers, or housekeeping and cleaning staff for at least six months. An approval from the province of Saskatchewan is required before the applicants starts to work.
(4) Long Haul Truck Drivers Sub-Category
This sub-category is designed for individuals who are currently working as a driver for an approved trucking firm in Saskatchewan. Also, the work must be at least six months.
(5) Students Sub-Category
Graduates from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada with a diploma or degree are welcome to apply in this Nomination Program. The applicant must also have at least six months work experience. The job offer must be qualified with the rules and standards of the province. Moreover, the applicant must meet language requirements.
Entrepreneur and Farm Category
This category is designed for individuals who wish to start a business in Saskatchewan by investing capital, talent, skills, and management. Also, the applicant may be a farmer with farming experience who wants to farm in the Province. There are three different categories under this stream.
(1) Entrepreneur
(2) Farm Owners/Operators
(3) Young Farmers

The Provincial Nomination Program in Nova Scotia consists of three main streams: the Regional Labour Market Demand Stream, the Skilled Worker Stream; and the Family Business Worker Stream.
Regional Labour Market Demand Stream
Under this stream are applicants that possess skills and experience that are in demand in the province. The applicant worker must be 21 to 55 years old. He or she must demonstrate at least a level 5-language proficiency. Even though a job offer is not required during the application, the applicant must have an intended occupation in Nova Scotia that is considered skilled. It is important that the applicant is legally residing in the Canada. The applicant must have acquired a a high school level of education and received at least a degree, diploma or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution. The applicant should also have at least two years of continuous, full-time work experience in last five years related to the occupation intended in Nova Scotia. Lastly, a settlement plan in the province may be required along the process of application.
Some of the in demand skills in Nova Scotia includes health care managers and professionals, financial officers, engineers, computer programmers, engineering technologists and technicians, and many more.
Skilled Worker Stream
This category or stream is designed for individuals who have received a job offer from a Nova Scotia employer. The applicant in this stream must know whether the occupation offered is listed under the skilled, semi-skilled, and low-skilled occupations. Thus, this stream is further divided into three sub-categories. The following statements will provide you with the list of requirements that are applicable to the three sub-categories.
The applicant must provide proof of legal status if residing in Canada. The age must be between 21 and 55 at the time of application. The applicant should also have at least completed a high school level of education. Sufficient training, education and licensing is required as well as 12 months of related work experience. The applicant must pass language proficiency requirements as well as display an intent and ability to settle permanently in Nova Scotia.
On the other hand, the employer should be permanently established in Nova Scotia with at least two years operation under current management. The applicant must receive a full-time permanent job offer. The hob must meet labor and wage standards. It is recommended that in order or the job offer to be eligible, the job must be in a position for which there is a shortage of qualified Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
Family Business Worker Stream
This stream is designed for applicants who have received an offer of employment from a close family member in Nova Scotia. The applicant must be related to the the family business owner or the spouse of the business owner as the son or daughter, sibling, niece or nephew, uncle or aunt, and grandchild. Also, the applicant must have legal status in their residence in the country. The job offer must be full-time and permanent. It is important that the applicant has acquired sufficient training, education and accreditation required for the job. An intention and ability to settle in Nova Scotia must be demonstrated by the applicant.
The family business owner or their spouse must also meet certain criteria to be eligible. They should be a permanent Canadian resident that has been living in the Nova Scotia for at least 2 years. Moreover, they should hold at least one-third of the business. The business should meet labor and wage or salary standards.
International Student Sub-Stream
This offset from the program is created for international graduates of Canadian recognized colleges or universities who have received an offer of employment from a Nova Scotia employer.

The Provincial Nominee Program would allow rightful applicants to retain their services towards the province or acquire permanent residence to continue working in their chosen field. In this program, there are four main immigration streams. These are the Manitoba Invitation Stream, Manitoba Support Stream, Manitoba Experience Stream, Manitoba Employment Stream
Manitoba Invitation Stream
As what the name implies, this stream is open for individuals which are targeted by MPNP officials and then invited to apply for permanent residence. For instance, Provincial officials usually make regular trips abroad to search for prospective immigrants under this stream. In this category, there are requirements to be met for the applicant.
Applicants must be between 21 and 45 years of age. In addition, the applicant should also demonstrate a strong connection to a province other than Manitoba. Applicants must hold at least a one-year, post-secondary certificate or training diploma, degree or certificate. Moreover, the applicant must have at least two years of work experience for the past five years. Adaptability and Employability must also be demonstrated to the willing applicant. A settlement plan must also be provided during the application. A score of at least 5 must be attained in taking the General Training IELTS test. Applicants invited for this category must conduct an exploratory visit around Manitoba.
Manitoba Support Stream
This stream was designed for skilled workers who are not currently employed in Manitoba but possess a personal connection to Manitoba. Prospect applicants must score at least 60 out of 100 points on the MPNP selection grid. This grid tests the language proficiency education and the adaptability of the applicant.
On the other hand, the Manitoba Supporter must also provide documents and must met the criteria such as being a close or distant relative, or a close friend. The supporter must provide documentation showing they currently reside and are established in Manitoba, and have been living in the province for at least one year. Also, the supporter must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident that is able to support the applicant's Settlement Plan
Manitoba Experience Stream
This stream is created for individuals who have current or past experience in Manitoba as either temporary foreign workers or international students. Principal applicants must score at least 60 out of 100 points on the MPNP selection grid. Applicants must also be either a full-time skilled work experience in Manitoba for at least six months within the past ten years or have completed a post-secondary program (excluding language studies) in Manitoba
Manitoba Employment Stream
This stream is for individuals who have long-term, full-time job offers in Manitoba. The job offers must be made after at least six months of continuous full-time employment as temporary workers, or after completion of a post-secondary program in the province. For temporary foreign workers, they should possess all necessary qualifications to perform the job in Manitoba. Moreover, the applicant must be able to have high language proficiency in English and French. Lastly, the applicant must be able to provide a Settlement Plan in which they demonstrate the intention to live, work, and become established in Manitoba including proofs for settlement funds.
For international students from other provinces, they are eligible under this stream only if they have been working for their Manitoba employer for at least one year. The applicants must have attended an authorized education or training program at a public, or registered private vocational, post-secondary institution in Manitoba for at least a year. Once again, they should also provide a settlement plan to be established in Manitoba. Lastly, they must demonstrate sufficient English or French language skills to perform the job in Manitoba.Graduates who settle in Manitoba are to avail a 60 per cent tuition rebate
