IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

• The Test is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work in a English Speaking country.
• IELTS is jointly managed by University Of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, British Council & IDP: IELTS Australia.
• The test includes 4 modules. It is recognized by universities & employers in many countries. Test Format.
• There are four modules in IELTS: Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking.
• The test is paper based test and it is conducted by IDP/British Council.
• The duration of the test is approximately 2 hours 45 minutes.
• The test is held at authorized centers which has special permission to conduct it. The test is for 2 days, on the 1st day the test is of 3 modules listening, reading, writing, and speaking is held on 2nd day.
• The score or the band is of 1-9, it tests the candidate's ability from non user to expert user.
• During the exam Candidate has to carry their original passport and confirmation receipt of examination.
• The registration can be done through online just visit the home page of both the websites & click on to register online & fill up the candidate's details with selecting the available test dates or by visiting the offices of British Council / Idp Australia.
• The examination fee is 11100/- which can be paid by credit card, Demand Draft or by cash to ICICI Bank.
